What it does

More comfort, less fade, real UV protection

At altitude the sun is strong year round, and it heats your cabin and fades your dash, seats, and trim over time. Quality tint rejects heat and blocks the UV that causes that fade, so the interior stays cooler and lasts longer. It also cuts glare on I-70 and adds privacy. Colorado law sets how dark you can go on the front glass, and we install to those limits so you stay legal. Ask us for the current legal shades before you choose.

FAQ

Common questions

What tint percentage is legal in Colorado?
Colorado law (C.R.S. 42-4-227) sets 27% VLT as the general rule for everything behind the windshield. There is an exception worth knowing: windows behind the driver, including the rear window, may be darker than 27% if the front side windows and the windshield both keep at least 70% VLT. So you can run legal dark rear glass if you keep the fronts light. The windshield can carry a non-reflective strip along the top four inches, and mirrored or metallic films are not allowed. We install to the current law, so ask us and we will confirm the exact limits for your vehicle.
What happens if my tint gets damaged, like a seat belt chip?
You are covered. Autobahn includes a one-time, no-questions-asked replacement for accidental damage, so a seat belt chip or a scratch from cargo does not mean paying for that window again. Ask us for the complete warranty details.
Ceramic tint vs. standard: is it worth it?
For most drivers here, yes. Ceramic rejects far more heat and UV at the same shade, so the cabin stays cooler and your interior is better protected. Standard film mostly addresses glare and looks. If comfort at altitude matters to you, ceramic is the upgrade.
How soon can I roll my windows down?
Give the film a few days to cure before rolling the windows down, and a little longer in cold weather. You may see slight haze or small water pockets while it cures. That clears on its own.
